Unable to Activate Adobe Fonts in InDesign on Windows 10

I've tried every single post I could find on this site relating to this and nothing is working. I've tried uninstalling all apps and reinstalling with no luck.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit system.

In InDesign, I am trying to activate a font family. The "Missing Fonts" dialog box pops up, I click "Activate", it loads for about 5 minutes and then nothing. It just says "Some of these missing fonts are available from Adobe Fonts".

In the Creative Cloud Desktop app, clicking on the Fonts resource links takes me to my browser where I see that on my account the fonts are activated. But this does not reflect on my computer.

It's as if nothing on my computer can communicate with Adobe Fonts properly.

Hi Ezra,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing with InDesign. I would request if you can share a few more details:

  1. Is this happening with a specific font or with multiple fonts?
  2. Are you able to see Adobe fonts on any other application or it is just with InDesign?
  3. You can also refer to this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html

Regards
