Question

UNABLE TO ACTIVATE PLUG-IN VIA INDESIGN EXTENSION MANAGER

I'm still working in ID 5.5 . For some weird and wonderful reason my Package & Preflight plugin was deactivated. I've been trying to reinstall it, but EM does not recognize the current plugin on my system (ie, I can see it, but can't click on it), so I'm unable to install and activate it again. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Hi,

are you sure this is the right way to install a plug-in?

I don't think so.

Usually the mentioned plug-ins are stored in:

Applications > Adobe InDesign CS5.5 > Plug-Ins > Prepress >

Package and Preflight UI.InDesignPlugin

Package and Preflight.InDesignPlugin

I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall InDesign.
Both plug-ins are Adobe ones that come with every InDesign CS5.5 installation.

Regards,
Uwe

CS5.5 and all related apps are unsupported under 10.11 and later. What operating system are you running?

I'm on 10.11.6. Any suggestions?
