Unable to Delete Instructional Boxes in Graduation Book Layout Template

Hello everyone,

I'm a german student working on a layout for our graduation book using a template we received. The yellow and pink boxes in the template contain tips on how to use it effectively. However, I'm unable to select or delete the circled area, as shown in the attached screenshot. This is problematic because I don't want these instructional boxes to be printed in the final version.

Any advice on how to remove or hide these elements would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

They are most likely on a separate layer, locked. Look at the Layers menu and you will likely find a "Guide" or "Instruction" layer. Simply turn off any or all of these layers, and things like instruction boxes, guidelines, help text etc. should disappear from the layout.
