Unable to Load ASE Swatch File as Separate Palette in InDesign

Oops… I meant to type “ase” file, but I can’t edit the title apparently.

Hi all! I’m trying to load a specific swatch palette (not the default one). I’ve done it a million times. I’m running Indesign v. 21.3 on my Mac. I’m not trying to add it to the default color palette… I want it to be a separate palette.

Today it’s trying to add a swatch to the library… instead of letting me open my .ase file. I’ve not encountered this before. I have nothing selected.

What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Never mind! I figured out that I was thinking of Illustrator… I thought I could also do this in InDesign, but maybe not.
