    Hi @blacky2026,

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're running into this issue.

Could you let us know if the suggestions shared by the experts helped resolve the problem? If not, please share the requested details, including your operating system version, a screenshot of the exact error message, whether this occurs with all newly created documents, and where you're attempting to save the file.

Additionally, could you try creating a new folder directly on your Desktop and save the document there with a simple name such as "Test.indd"? Please also confirm whether you're signed in to the Creative Cloud Desktop app and whether you're creating a local document or a cloud document.

Another helpful test would be to create a new user account on your machine, launch InDesign from that account, create a blank document, and check whether it saves successfully. You can find instructions here:

    Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mh15191/mac

    Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/manage-user-accounts-in-windows-104dc19f-6430-4b49-6a2b-e4dbd1dcdf32

    Looking forward to your update.

    Best,
    Abhishek

You download InDesign via the Creative Cloud app. Having downloaded it you open InDesign and select File > New and then you enter dimensions such as the page size, bleed, number of pages etc. You then name and save the document and you can subsequently add text and images to the page(s).

What’s your operating system version? Can you post a screenshot of the error? Does it happen to this file only or any other file as well? Where do you attempt to save the file (your local drive, cloud storage, network volume etc?)
