Unusual behaviour when selecting multiple objects

I’ve recently upgraded from CS5.5 to CC 2025. I’ve noticed an unusual behaviour when I have multiple objects selected. If I click on one of the objects in the group, a thick blue line appears around it.  I’m not sure of the purpose of this, or how it is used?

@Iain Robinson That thick blue border is the indicator for a Key Object. Just go back to the object and change to Align to Selection — that’s a huge jump from CS5.5 to 2025!! Welcome to the Subscription world!
