Update for InDesign CS6 Mac

Hi,

 

I have installed InDesign CS6 8.0 on Mac OS 10.12.6. I need to update to CS6 8.1. As I understand, first I need to update to 8.0.2 using patch/updater and then I can update to 8.1 using creative cloud app. I am unable to find patch/updater for 8.0.2. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Narayan:

     

    There is not a good answer to this question. Adobe recently rescinded the licensing for all InDesign Creative Cloud versions prior to CC 2014 (specifically, CC and CS6 purchased with the subscription model). You are still allowed to use CS6 and earlier if purchased outright. But that's if it runs on a current operating system, which is another story. My understanding is that you will not be successful running CS6 on Mojave.     Yes I have the license for InDesign CS6 Mac. I was able to update to 8.0.2 and now I need to update to 8.1. But creative cloud app is not showing update for 8.1. How can I update to 8.1?

     

    Note that I am using Mac OS 10.12.6 (Sierra).
