Update Gets Rid of My Custom Scripts

This has happened several times. Adobe releases a major update (like it did recently with 16.0). After doing the update, all of my custom scripts disappear from my scripts panel, and I have to reload them or recreate them. It seems like the installer could check for custom scripts so they don't get overwritten.

This happens with the scripts in Adobe InDesign/Scripts/Scripts Panel as well as those in Adobe InDesign/Scripts/Startup scripts. Scripts in User/Library/Preferences/InDesign are copied over.

Where are you saving your scripts? Mine are all saved in the User folder, and they copied over with the update.

Totaly agree, it should copy them over from older versions. That is why I uncheck 'remove older versions' when updating, copy them over and then later remove the older version.
