Updating table of contents within book

Question

Hi all,

So I am looking for a way to be able to update the TOC on multiptle different documents at the same time when i am updating the page numbers within a book. Does anyone know how i can get around this? Is there a setting or script that I am missing.

I am currently having to remember which document has a TOC and manually going in and updating from there.

I'm not clear on how your project is set up, but if you have documents properly assembled under a Book, you should be able to update a placed TOC from the Book panel's menu.

If for some reason you mean multiple documents that aren't associated through a Book, there is no way I know of to include them in one TOC; a script solution might be possible, though.
