I work at a small non-profit theatre.  My boss makes all our programs and brochures on InD.  He upgraded to High Sierra last night.  Now docs are blank. He talked to Apple for like 2 hours and they were no help.  Suggestions?  HELP!!!

True for INDD files though...

Or tell your boss that if he upgrades OS that he or she needs to budget for all new apps. CS4 is about 6 versions behind and is now subscription only. Warning: if files are shared, once edited with a later version, CS4 will never work with them again.

That's not true for everything.   It depends a lot on the apps and file types used.

As discussed in countless threads here, CS4 is not supported at all under High Sierra.

Roll that machine back to whatever it was before.

High Sierra uses all new graphics and file management systems that  did not exist when CS4 was released 10+ years ago.   If the non-profit wants to use the latest & greatest operating systems, they'll need to scrape up the money to buy newer compatible software, too.

You can redownload old versions if you've previously downloaded them:
