Urgent help needed (deadline) tables don't show up right in PDF

Hi there!

I have a problem you can hopefully help with. In InDesign, I have a table with coloured lines:

Our graphic designers created our format for tables with styles, so the line I am talking about is the table header. The other lines are regular table lines. Have worked with this for 3 years. However, when I export to PDF, the header colour disappears.

This was never the case before and I have not changed anything in the settings or whatsoever. What is going wrong?

Thanks for helping out! This is driving me crazy to be honest and I have a report to submit in 3 hours...

There is indeed no free version, but perhaps you could check the app version and compare it to yours...

Maybe, since this is about a PDF, the free version referred to is Acrobat Reader

You say PDF but you tagged it as EPUB. If PDF, what are your export settings? How are you viewing? Is that a spot color?

I guess I accidentally clicked in EPUB somewhere.

I think this has something to do with my laptop. I sent the pdf to a colleague to check something and he could see the tables with the styles applied in InDesign. No clue why it doesn't work for my version of adobe - I have the paid with my adobe subscription, he as the free version....
