Urgent: Need Offline Installer for InDesign compatible with macOS Big Sur (Late 2014 iMac)

Hi everyone,

I am a professional graphic designer working on a Late 2014 iMac (macOS Big Sur 11.7.11). Due to hardware limitations, I cannot upgrade my macOS further at the moment.

My Creative Cloud Desktop app does not show "Older Versions" for InDesign anymore. I specifically need the official offline installer for InDesign 2021 (v16.x) or InDesign 2022 (v17.x), as these are the last versions known to work stably on Big Sur.

Can anyone provide the direct Adobe server links for these specific versions? I have a valid Creative Cloud subscription; I just need the installer file to bypass the CC app restriction. Thank you.

You can also consider OCLP - see discussion here:

As Barb says especially since you’re looking for very old versions. I’m sorry, but if you can’t upgrade your hardware or O/S you’re going to have start shopping for a new computer.

The only legal way to bypass the CC app restriction is to ask Adobe directly for the installers.

As they transitioned to the current restrictions (N current version and N-1 last version) they would occasionally provide them. At this point, the restrictions have been in place for quite some time, and the feedback we are getting from other users is that Adobe is longer making exceptions. You can still try, but we (other users like you) can’t help.
