Question

URL links on buttons not working on Adobe Digital Editions

There appears to be a bug when reading ePubs created in inDesign on Adobe Digital Editions when URLs are connected to an interactive button. Is this lack of functionality or a BUG?

No such issue with Apple Books App, or HTML, but definitely in ADE.

Hyperlinks work in txt, but not as convenient as a button!

All help, guidance or Bug reporting would be great!

Here's the bottom line: This is not an InDesign issue.

Consider using instead of FXL ePub, create an Interactive PDF with simple hyperlinks to other parts of the document or to external websites.

That doesnt really help me with some of the other interactivity, even the Interactive PDF works fine with the Go to URL feature...... But thanks for Input.

Alternatively, consider using InDesign's Publish Online or even in5, an InDesign plugin (at extra cost).

ADE is to be quite blunt, garbage. The best advice I can give you is to not use it.

Could you suggest an alternative Free ePub reader for Windows platforms?
