Using Animate files in InDesign scripts

Is it possible to use and interact with an Adobe Animate file in an InDesign script? Having a great deal of difficulty creating an interface for a script I am writing and wondered if Animate could help me with this.

Yes, that is what I was looking at. But have been looking at the UXP tools and think this may be the way to go.
