Using findChangeByList to change character color and for changing asterisks to ✠

Would anyone know how to add a line to the findChangeList.txt file that will change all text to black the same as the query below does?

 

 

and one which will change asterisks into a Maltese cross ✠ in ITC Zapf Dingbats

 

Any help would be appreciated

I don't use the script much, but I know applying character styles is well documented. Just use Character Styles for your cases (or, even better, GREP styles in the Paragraph Style defintions).

Thank you for your reply but the problem is the proper formatting of the tab delimited file used by the findChangeByList.jsx script.
