Using PDF Comments panel to bring changes into InDesign - 'insert tex' markup not working sometimes?

Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone knows why sometimes when importing pdf comments into InDesign to take in the changes, that the 'insert text' comments don't work. This started happening randomly about 6 months ago to many people in our team and is a real pain as you then have to search the pdf markups in the pdf itself to find out what needs inserting and where and really slows down production when all the other comments work fine. Not sure if its an Indesign problem or an Acrobat problem.

Also in the same document with comments marked up by the same person, some 'insert text" comments might work and some not.

Apart from that problem I love this feature and saves so much time. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Cheers Gia

When your editors use Acrobat comments, only 3 of the 20 comment tools have the ability to Auto-Edit their changes back into the InDesign document. Are they being careful to use only those 3 comment tools?
