Using text wrap so that I can place text over a colored box and STILL have it wrap around an image!

Hi--I am trying to make a colored box behind some text. INn order to make the text show, I have to check "ignore Text Wrap". But there is also an image which the text is supposed to wrap around. Now it won;t wrap around the image. I'm very confused as to how to solve this problem. I don't ever recall having it before!
