Question

variables d'en-tête dans un livre

Bonjour,

If I understand your problem correctly, you want a variable in a document to pick up the text from a previous document. For example, if Heading1 is in chapter 2, you want the heading text to repeat in chapter 3 until a new Heading1 is used.

Do I have that correct?

Yes, when I said chapters, I meant separate InDesign documents linked together in a Book file.

Assuming you ARE using a book file, use cross-references for the header text you want to repeat in the next chapter/document. That way, if the original header gets updated, it will update the cross reference when you update the book.

Note: I have not tested this but it should work.

Bonjour Lear,

Attention ! Faites d'abord une sauvegarde.

You need to synchronize the paragraph styles by means of the Book panel menu button. Be careful! Have a backup first!
