Question

video indesign to pdf

I am trying to create a pdf for a presentation with 2 slides that include videos
I added a video to the InDesign file and exported it to an interactive pdf, but when I open (and enable) the video plays but "spreads" to the rest of the pages when I browse, without the option to stop it. There is also no control bar.
I tried several times according to the settings shown in each tutorial video but it happens every time and sometimes the pdf also crashes and closes.

As has been pointed out in countless other discussions, multimedia in a PDF is nothing short of a crapshoot even using Acrobat. Beyond Acrobat or Reader it's pretty much doomed to failure.

Your best course of action, in my opinion, is to abandon this project as a PDF and use proper presentation software.

You could try to export it to fixed layout EPUB.
