Hi

I have strange experience in indesign with text. I have maximum set to see high quality but still the text quality is with antialiasing and it is just off. Never happened this before.

Thanks.

Correct answer Petr Holusa

I noticed maybe the issue. 😄

The problem was even after exporting to PDF.
I found that some of text has Registration Black colour, after changing to normal standard black problem solved. YAY!!!!

I'm also curious if the same blurring happens to your text if you remove the blue background.

The display quality settings normally do not affect the appareance of text. InDesign does have a "greeking" setting that could affect it, but that only pertains to specific sizes and display scenarios; I doubt that's what you're seeing.

The processing of a font's built-in hinting is an operating system function. If your system is overtaxed at a given moment, text may be temorarily distorted somewhat. Aside from that, I'd ask whether it's a particular font that exhibits the problem, or every font?
