What size to use for an interactive PDF?

I assume readers will use all range of screen sizes, 1920px wide as well as 1024 px.

When I do a 1920px wide layout (WeTransfer ), then text might look to small for users on smaller screens.

If I use a smaller size then images look blurred on large screens (WeTransfer )

What size would you use? Thanks!

You've encountered a limitation of the interactive PDF format (one of them). Other limitations include the fact that some interactivity may not work on certain devices especially depending on which reader they happen to open the file in. To your question, you're going to run into this no matter what unless you create a PDF at a size for each device which probably isn't feasible. I'd go with a happy medium. Some users will get some level of letter boxing or pillar boxing though. When I was creating static content for devices in the DPS world, we had to enlarge the body text to 16pt or higher to make it readable on the device. 12 pt looks good in print, bot not on digital devices.

I've just done one and I chose A5 landscape, which seemed to work well on mobiles, tablets and a laptop.
