When converting my indesign file to PDF I lose my background colour.

Hi there please help,

when converting my file to PDF I loose all my pages colour of black. My A Masters are all black and I can't understand why.

What should I try next?

What happens when you choose the Adobe PDF Presets, for example, PDF/X-4?

I am the update before 16.0 I am yet to install the latest version.

i click l high quality print/ layout two continuous facing pages/ export all layers
