When creating a new document in InDesign, how does it default to the margin and column settings dialog box instead of the layout network dialog box?

Actually, I usually don't need grid layout.

Why does Adobe strongly recommend "online layout"? Put it first by default?

I have no idea what these 4 things you mentioned are referring to at all.
