Where is the Background Task Panel? Can't find it program stuck

Trying to export a pdf, Indesign error message. Program stuck can’t turn off, says manually close with Background Task Panel - Where is it?

    Hi, it's not a separate app — it's a panel inside InDesign.

     

    Go to Window > Utilities > Background Tasks. That panel shows the PDF export running in the background. Click the X next to that export task to cancel/stop it, and you should then be able to close the document and quit InDesign normally.
