It looks like a white frame. Can you select it with the Selection tool and press Delete?

 

If you can't select it:

  • It may be locked (choose Object > Unlock all on Spread) and try again to select it
  • It may be on a locked layer (open Window > Layers, expand the layer and look for a padlock icon. Click it to unlock.)
  • It may be on a master page (navigate to the master and remove it there)

 

There are other possibilities, but let's start there.

If you cannot select it, then it is either an locked item, on a locked layer, or on a Master Page.

Look in your Layers Pallet to locate it.
