Question

Why does InDesign show a double title bar?

Somehow a second, tiny title bar has appeared below the main one. I have no idea what purpose it serves or what it's doing there.

It looks like this. Note it is not the tab bar.... that's below it.

How do I get rid of this?

Have you already upgraded to Sonoma? (InDesign is not yet supported on Sonoma.) This is Ventura 13.6 and I'm not seeing that extra content.

No, I am on Monterey. We don't upgrade our OS until everyone in our office has a Mac which can support it, so we're all on the same one using the same software. I will see if we have a plan to migrate to Ventura in the near future. Hopefully that fixes the issue.

Thank you for your animated graphic, that helps a lot!

Try enabling the application frame.

Enabling the application frame does remove both title bars, but then when I disable it again, both title bars return.

Bumping this question.... does anyone have any idea what's causing the double title bar shown in the screenshot?

Hi Rishabh,

I'm afraid the color of the titlebars is not what I'm talking about. I'm trying to get rid of the redundant titlebar which doesn't seem to have any purpose, as shown in my screenshot.
