Question

Why my A-Masters look like this?

I was applying some A-Master for a book i?m making, but turns out that when I apply it, it appears this object that I cannot take off completely, and it's strange, since on the design of the A-Master there is no such thing. And besides, that A-Master applies to the other page without me even considering it, it`s kinda strange. Don't know if somebody over here have had an issue like this.

Hi @defaultuh2cl7f21884,

I hope Manan's suggestion to export the file to IDML and then resave it as INDD helped clear the issue. If the problem still persists, please share a few more details like the OS and InDesign version you are using, and whether this happens with all documents or just this specific file. If possible, a short screen recording would be really helpful for us to understand the behavior better.

Once you try exporting to IDML and resaving, check if the unwanted object from the A-Master disappears.

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to your update!

Maybe the document is corrupted. Export it to IDML, resave back as INDD, and then try.
