Hi @stefang2069169 , Is this the message dialog you are getting when you open a document? If not could you post a screen capture?

Color Management Policies get saved with the document on creation, so if you created a document with the CMYK CM Policy set to Convert To Working Space you would get that message whenever the Color Settings CMYK Working Space does not match the Document’s Assigned CMYK profile—see Edit>Assign Profiles...

In my example above, if I click OK, the document I am opening would have its native CMYK colors and assigned profile converted from US Web Coated SWOP to the current Color Settings’ Coated_Fogra39 Working Space. In general, you rarely want to use the Convert to Profile Policy. If you check Ask When Opening in Color Settings, you will be given to opportunity to change the policy to Preserve Embedded or Preserve Numbers when you open the document.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Are the documents you're opening ones that you created yourself or are you getting them from another source? If from another source then that would explain what is happening. If it happens with every document then check that your color settings for the program are set to the defaults for your country under Edit>Color Settings. Do this with no documents open and after any change to the settings that you may have to make quit the program after doing so. When you relaunch the program your changes will become the program default. Any existing documents, however, will retain their color settings.
