Wierd things happening with Indesign 2025/"Corupt" Images

Hi. Me and my coworkers are are Sequoia 15.1.1 and 2025 Indesign.  We all have been having wierd images all over the place and can't figure out if its a server problem or a adobe problem.

A few things we have run into:

Working in Indesign - images have purple or blue lines going through images.  It comes and goes.  When opening up images, it says disk error, error reading files metadate.  It seems like images are corupt. Sometimes we can't even open up the indesign file.  But when another coworker opens up the file and images they are fine.   I'll attach all of our errors we had in one day.

We also had one of our editors say that incopy was acting strange/images showing up black.

We have tried empting out our cache, preferences and thinking of going back to Indesign 2024.

Anyone have any thoughts if this is a adobe problem or server problem or both? This is driving us nuts.

thanks!

What if you open the same INDD file - and links - from your local drive?

Yes, we did try that.  It did work for some of the stuff, others it didn't.  Thats why we keep going back and forth.  One minute we think its a server issue and then the next we think its a adobe issue.  Im really leaning toward server issue.  Its just weird how one person can't open images/indesign files but the other employee can open the same file/images with no problem.

Are images linked or embedded?

Hi @nicoles45565553,

Thanks for sharing the details! Could you confirm if this issue is specific to a particular file or if it occurs across all your InDesign documents?

Additionally, could you share a screen recording showing when these problems (e.g., blue/purple lines, metadata errors) appear? This will help us investigate further.

Looking forward to your response!

Best,

This occurs to all different indesign files.  3 of us working on different files all experience some sort of errors.   I feel like it comes and goes and not consistant.  I will try and screen record of our errors when they happen.  thanks!
