Will InDesign CS5 work with Mac Snow Leopard?

I’m currently running InDesign CS5 on Snow Leopard. I want to upgrade to Yosemite and understand there may be compatibility issues with running CS5 on this newer OS. Does anyone have experience with this?  I don‘t want to lose access to my old InDesign files.
