Window.print() is not working in indesign 2017 cep extension

We want to print pdf of extension (HTML5 javascript) window in indesign using javascript's window.print() and it is working in indesign 2018 but not working in indesign 2017. Can anyone tell  the solution for this issue. My index.html :  ...some html content Print Pagein 2018 this prints the page in pdf correctly but in 2017 it prints nothing
