Windows 11 - My screen is going completely black from the bottom whenever I drag an object. I can still see my object, but from the object bottom to the taskbar at the bottom it turns completely black. The black adjusts according to where i drag the object.

The laptop is a 17” HP Envy.

If you were to drag the blue box, the black bar would adjust with your dragging. it stops as soon as you let go of the object.

Are you clicking and dragging immediately or are you clicking, holding and then dragging. Also, check your preferences under live screen drawing. Finally, do you have any effects applied to the object?

Is InDesign? Is Windows? Can you do a quick screen grab of this?

Yes… I’ll get a screen cap. Thank you very much for your help.

I’ll have to take a picture of it. It only happens when dragging

Are InDesign and Windows fully updated? Is GPU Performance enabled? If so, disable it to see if it makes a difference. Also, make sure your video drivers are up to date.
