Word Count required

Hi, up until now I have used the excellent Count Text script. Sadly this no longer works in indesign.

Does anything else exist out there, as part of my tender work we usually have a word count and having to take it out and put into word just to get that is tedious.

In General, InDesign can continue to use scripts from older versions if they are placed into a subfolder of the Scripts folder named with the older version, so for example if the script ran in version 18, you would put it into a folder named Version 18.0 Scripts (note the capitalization - the name is case sensitive).

and unless something has changed recently, InDesign's Info Panel will give you a word count for any selected text.

If it's flowing text you can just select the text and see.
But i guess that's not the case.

Window > Info: Select your text

Other than that i wouldn't know.

You could try posting that script here and get it updated...
