I have somehow lost "my" settings on my workspace. I can't see the character section in the top embedded bar anywhere in the options offered. Help. Is there a way to build my workspace again?
Mostly editorial work so I need the characters/fonts in the top of the workspace position. Suggestions?

Go to Window>Workspace and choose Advanced
That should bring back the bar at the top.
You can then setup your panels/placements again.
Then use Window>Workspace and save your workspace
You can then back it up
