Wrong size after exporting to PDF

Question

My pages are set at 59,4 x 42 cm.After exporting the pages are 59,393 x 41,995. How is this possible? I have been searching through forums for answers and tried everything, but Indesign keeps changing the size. This never happened to me before, I always got the dimensions I expected.The page tool shows the pages are all at the a2 dimensions. I am exporting via High Quality Print.Please, does anyone have a sollution.

Ironically, the rounding error you see occurs only on displaying centimetres. If you set your units to millimetres in Acrobat, it will be closer if not spot on as Acrobat rounds to the nearest one decimal place. so your 59,393 will become 594.0 (or 594) mm

It's a precision rounding anomaly. Despite the fact you are using metric units, all desktop publishing programs are based internally on points, so your cm measurements are being converted to the closest value in points (to a certain precision, say 2 decimal places). That new value is stored in the PDF. Sooo, when you view the file in Acrobat with the units set to centimetres, it basically takes the stored value in the file (that is in points) and converts it in reverse... As odd is it may seem, this is normal and unavoidable, and in the end, means absoultely no difference in the print workflow.
