XD link in Indesign

Can I put a XD link in Indesign. I have tried just to past the link in Indesign and make it a hyperlink. Unfortunately this gives a error. Can someone tell me if it is possible to get a XD link in Indesign

XD is about as dead as an application can be without actually being dead.

Does XD offer to export their files into any format supported by InDesign? That's probably the only way to handle it.

I don't believe InDesign would recognize a link from XD.
