Zoom in/out of pictures while keeping size of the frame

Hi everyone...is there any way in indesign cs5 that I can make zoom in or zoom out of a pic while keeping the size of the frame/picture box the same on a page? I've tried using the fitting function, but that doesn't allow me to isolate the picture. In Quark I'm able to hit the arrow keys and resize within the frame that way. I haven't been able to find an equivalent keyboard shortcut on my Mac and indesign. Thank you very much

I presume you mean scale the image in the frame?

First, make sure the image itself and not the frame is selected, then the default keybaord shorcuts are Crtl (Cmd on Mac) + > or < (they say . or , in the help, but that's hard to read and the anble brackets are much easier to read intuitively) for scaling by 1% increments. Add the Alt (Opt) key to scale in 5% jumps. Pick the point in the transform proxy first lo leave fixed.

If you have the patience to wait for it to load, all the default keybaord shortcuts that are not displayed in the menus are listed in categories in the Help file. Second item from the bottom of the list in the contents...
