1301 on external drive works with Air but not iMac

Question

I use LRC on an external drive and use it with a Macbook Air (M1 Sonoma 14) and an iMac (Monterey 12.7, quad core i5 chip).  I upgrades to 1301 via the Air, it installed and worked well.  I deleted the lr12 catalogues.  I then connected the drive to the iMac and launched LRC. It said I needed to update (odd, as external drive already updated).  I did, and now it opens but the catalogue has no data in it.  Suggestions? Thanks, Nick

When you connected the external drive to your iMac, it opened the wrong catalog file. You need to find the proper catalog file on the external drive, open that on the iMac, and it should not need to be upgraded.

Or, another possibility, you have accidentally created a catalog on the internal HD of the Macbook Air, in which case the iMac won't find it.
