45 minutes to an hour to export 15 photos

Question

Please help!!! everything has been great with my Lightroom classic until today. Everything is running SO slow. I'm talking like to export photos. It's taking 45 minutes to an hour to export 15 photos. Every time I click on a photo to edit. I get the spinning wheel that it's loading for about 20 minutes. I am editing on a MacBook. I don't have a ton of old albums in Lightroom or photos and I have a ton of storage left! so I have no idea why this is happening. And nothing is different than what I usually do in Lightroom and it's never been a problem so I'm at a complete loss for what's going on. 
I have a M1pro 
32 GB RAM 
I currently have 400 GB available on my SSD 
 
I have no issues with the speed outside of Lightroom. It's only with Lightroom.

Restart your computer. If that doesn't help, do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.
