AAM damaged and unable to install update

Hi all - I purchased and installed Lightroom 6 (perpetual) from Adobe today.  On attempting to open following the download, the application crashed.  I searched various forums and read that I had to download the latest patch update - I am running Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.2.

The patch downloaded, but when I went to install it, I had an error from the AAM saying the application may be damaged preventing me from running the download.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?  Quite frustrating that the downloaded application does not appear to work on the last OS.

Veno

I'm installing Lightroom CC 2015, which I think is the same as Lightroom 6. It will take a while to download!

I want to test whether a usual fix for this problem will work for Lightroom 6, though as I'm using the Creative Cloud desktop application to install, and not AAM, it may not go wrong for me.

In any case, the usual work around is to right-click (or control-click) on the installer file, Show Package contents, go into Contents/MacOS/ and double click the Unix executable. That will use Terminal to do the install, which may then show more information about any problems. But also it may well install successfully.

Thanks for reporting back! I as suspected, my CC install went ok, without me having to do anything special. Glad it worked out ok for you.
