Adding tags to list expands tag list

I have a big LR Classic catalog (12.2.1), I use a lot of tags, my tag list is very big and deeply hierachally ordered.

When I add a sub tag to another sub tag LR Classic expands (partial or complete) the tag list and loses focus on my added tag and I have to scroll down the complete list to find my tag again.

This is very anoying and costs time specially when adding a lot of new tags while working on a big new photo project.
