Adjustment Brush Active During Image Cycle Through

Here is my process when in the Lightroom Development module at times:

At given times I may have a series of 5-20 images where I need to add a quick adjustment brush to each image. An example would be a portrait of a person whose hair a want to darken down a bit or a white wedding dress that I want to darken a bit to show the detail.  

Question:

Is there a way to keep the adjustment brush open and active as I cycle through image after image to apply the brush? So far I have not found a solution and have to continually hit the letter "K" to repoen the brush as I advance to each image. I find workflow would be speed up by allowing one to keep the adjustment brush open and active during the progression of going from image to image with my arrow keys. 

Thoughts? Solutions?
