Adobe DNG Converter does not recognize my X-T20 RAF files

Even though the X-T20 is listed as supported, when I browse to the folder that contains the RAF file, Adobe DNG fails to recognize any images to convert. I don't see any way to select what type of camera raw files I am converting - seems it just is supposed to recognize the supported camera models? Any ideas?

Another possible problem. If you have the latest DNG converter and are getting the message that there are no raw files to convert, it's possible that you are opening the folder that contains the RAF files. The DNG converter works at the folder level. Choose the folder containing the raw files, but don't open the folder. If you open the folder then the DNG converter will indicate that there are no raw files to convert.

Thank You! What a weird program. You would think it would give you a view of the RAF files you want to convert first. Oh well, I guess I can think of it as a semi-automated workflow.

It’s a simple app and it’s only function is to convert the raw files to DNG format that earlier versions of LR and ACR can work with.

You can select the ones you wish to work with in LR from the import dialog as previews will be displayed there.

I see that I am not answering the correct question. The DNG converter, if it is the correct version, should have no trouble opening your RAF files.

Instructions at link I already provided:

Adobe Digital Negative Converter

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

Normaly ACR and the DNG converter versions match, so you would need v 9.9 or newer.

You can get the latest (11.1) at:

Adobe Digital Negative Converter

Oh, and I forget if v9.9 could handle compressed RAF, latest v11.1 can.
