I’m having the same issue “crashing while using assisted culling”, no warning.

@Rikk Flohr_Photography When this occurs Lightroom does not present a crash upload prompt at any time. I had to disable Assisted Culling to actually work in Lightroom, otherwise I get maybe a 3m on a good day to use it.

I just turned Assisted Culling on, saw RAM usage climb about 2GB and then a silent crash to desktop, all in about 20s. This is on Windows 11.

I have similar issues with LRc 15.4.1 - consistently crashing multiple times a day. I have sent numerous anonymous bug reports and couple today with my other email address (it should be my back up address here). Open any image, do something, freeze, memory usage runs up and crash report. Most easy way to repeat is to do some spot removal and wait a moment. First i thought it would be with photos that have assisted culling data, but no. Any photo from library will do. Sometimes it just crashes on zoom on library. If i try to open the folder of my latest photos on the newer lightroom, it just crashes. HD have been checked, no errors, win11 error checkings done, all up to date, nvidia drivers up to date. I cannot do any editing right now.

You have a different problem than the assisted culling problem in the title of this thread. Please start a new thread, describe your problem in detail and include all information at Help->System Info. People will be happy to help you in a new thread.

I think the errors are Microsoft errors after lightroom crashes.  So probably why you didn’t receive any error messages.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Dear Rick.  The crash reports are from lightroom and not microsoft to my knowledge

I pushed the send to adobe button.  Not sure why you have not received it.  I have heard numerous reports of the same issue happening with others with the latest version of Lightroom.

Since rolling back the previous version I have no issues and no more crash reports.  So I can’t sent you any more crash reports.   Others have reported the same issue.  So I trust you have numerous crash reports etc. Hopefully can resolve this issue and do a better job of making sure your updates are working properly before releasing as 15.4 had big issues and now 15.4.1 has issues too.
