After importing my catalog my edits are gone

Hi everyone so i upgraded my laptop and after importing my catalog all of my edits are gone but i can still see them on my phone

So this is currently what I done

On the old laptop, i exported my catalog to an SSD

Took it to my new laptop and imported it and opened lightroom. I relinked the locations of my raw file 

But now all the photos that were exported are the RAW edits (it seems the xmp files did not copy over) 

Is there a way to export with my XMP files

If it helps the old laptop was windows the new laptop is apple
