After LR 2015.8 Update, Blacked out parts of screens, crashing

Just updated to 2015.8 and have had display issues with the side panes blacking out in Library module, and I have coworkers whose programs have crashed. I can resolve the blacked out panes by minimizing and then maximizing. We are all running El Capitan, I believe, or other very recent versions of OS X.
