After the recent LR Classic update 15.6, my user presets are misbehaving.

Question

After the 15..6 update, I wonder if others are experiencing problems with user presets.  Previously, the user presets worked ok.  One user preset I used to adjust Highlights and Shadows is now also adjusting Contrast and Clarity.  Today, when applying the preset to a batch of shots just imported in the Library Module, the preset began changing color shots to black and white.  The size of the batch was large (500), but other batches previously had no problem.  I am unsure as to the cause.  LRC?  My pc?  My mouse?  What worked in September, is presenting problems in October.  Thanks for any feedback or suggestions.

Since your presets worked correctly before updating to Lightroom Classic 15.6, I’d like to narrow down what’s causing the unexpected adjustments.Could you please check a few things?In Develop, right-click the affected preset and select Update with Current Settings (but don’t save any changes). Check whether Contrast, Clarity, or B&W Treatment are selected. This will help us understand which settings the preset currently includes.Does the same preset change unintended settings when applied to just one photo in Develop, or does it only happen when applying it to a large batch in Library? If the issue only occurs with multiple photos, could you test with 5–10 images to see whether the behavior is consistent?Go to Help > System Info > Copy and paste the information here.If possible, please also share the affected preset’s XMP file so we can examine its settings. Also, a small screen recording demonstrating the issue would be really helpful.Thanks!Anshul Saini
