After updating lightroom classic my presets disapeard. I have search for .xmp on my computer but still not found

Apologies for the delayed follow-up, and thank you for working through the suggestions already provided.

Since the presets were available immediately before the Lightroom Classic update, I’d like to check two additional things without having you repeat the searches you’ve already done.

First, please go to Edit > Preferences > Presets > Show Lightroom Develop Presets and let me know which folder opens and whether the missing presets appear there. Also, check under the settings folder as well.

Also, did you change Lightroom Classic’s application language at any point around the time of the update? If you did change it, please temporarily switch Lightroom Classic back to the previous language, restart it, and check whether the presets return.

Finally, please paste the content from Help > System Info so we can confirm your current Lightroom Classic version. If you remember which version you updated from, please include that as well.

What often happened in a situation like this is that you had ‘store presets with this catalog’ enabled, and this got reset to the default. Toggle it to see if that brings back your presets.
