After updating LRC 15.5, unable to control camera settings when shooting tethered

After updating LRC v 15.5, I am unable to control or change camera settings on my camera when shooting tethered. The camera will not allow me to change apertures, shutter speed, ISO, focus points etc.

When i disconnect tethering, it works fine.

I am using Canon R5, Macbook Pro, Sequoia 15.7.1

      Hey, ​@Mandytaxi. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I've merged your posts together.

       

      Lightroom Classic now supports native tethering for Canon cameras with a new native (PTP-based) tethering pipeline. For this behavior, go to Lightroom Classic > Preferences > General > Tether Options, toggle between Use Canon SDK & restart the Camera & Lightroom Classic, and see how it goes.

      I had the same basic problem the other day and I have tried the suggestion you supplied.

      It doesn’t work for my set up. Canon 5D4 (up to date firmware) and Macbook M5 Max Tahoe 26.6.2.

      If I toggle on “Use Canon SDK” then restart Lightroom and the camera, tethering will not initiate at all.

      If I toggle Use Canon SDK off again then restart Lightroom and the camera, tethering initiates but I’m back to where I started. No control on the camera of ISO Autofocus White Balance etc.

      I tried different orders of various offs and ons but nothing seems to work.

      Is there something else I can try?
