Question

AgStoreProviderSession:getEntityByID: id must be a number or string

I am using a Mac with Monterey OS. This error is new, after the last update and it is issued when sending a photo from LR to PS. I am using LR Classic 12.3 and PS 24.5.0

PS the app opens, but the photo does not make it there. There are actually 2 errors:

1) The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop 2023 could not be launched.

2) AgStoreProviderSession:getEntityByID: id must be a number or string

Any suggestion on what to do to fix this?

Thank you

Hey, @xyz99. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info of Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > Upload and share with us here.

Let us start with the second error first. The particular error in the past has been related to third-party plugins being used in Photoshop & Lightroom Classic. Have you tried uninstalling any third-party plugins that might be active in the app?

For the Photoshop launch error, try this:

  • Uninstall & re-install Lightroom Classic & Photoshop.
  • Install Photoshop & Lightroom again & launch Photoshop before you open Lightroom Classic.
  • Try again.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. Try to open an image in Photoshop from Lightroom and although Photoshop opens, the image is not opened. After closing Photoshop, this popup appears in Lightroom.
